Sarah Shafer’s “luminous voice” and “intensely expressive interpretations” (New York Times) have helped this fast-rising soprano’s career take off. Pianist and Metropolitan Opera Assistant Conductor Lydia Brown joins the 2013 Musical Fund Society Career Advancement Winner for this eagerly-awaited return engagement.
